With Scuzzband off work this week, we have taken several leisurely strolls in a local nature preserve. The weather has been gorgeous, and it was a chance to get some exercise. (Note: photos taken before the de-scuzzing.)

R carried M in the Ergo as his handicap, although he still walks faster and farther than me. The bastard.

Although stopping to take pictures every few feet didn’t help me any.

And we also discovered the things we’ll do to keep M happy when she’s tired of being in the carrier.

R has been on vacation this week. He has changed the oil in the lawn mower, mowed the lawn (twice), cleaned out the garage, and spent two nights working on replacing the clutch in his truck. We had the following conversation after his shower last night:

“Hey, I thought of what you could call me on your blog when I haven’t showered in 6 days.”

“It was only 5 days.”

Pause. Counts on fingers.

“Five and a half days.”

“Okay. Whatever.”

“Scuzzband.”

The noise of a razor, laboriously chewing through five and a half days’ worth of stubble on my recently de-scuzzed Scuzzband’s face, resumed.
